Team FOLON wants YOU for market research!

We'd love to know your thoughts! We're doing a bit of market research for our next potential future project, and part of that means understanding our own work better, especially through the eyes of the people who've played it.

We'd LOVE to hear about some of your favourite moments from our game:

Favourite Companion

Favourite Quest

Favourite Character

Favourite Interaction (a particular conversation, dialogue choice, exchange, moment, etc.)

But most importantly: tell us WHY!

What made that companion stick with you? Why did that quest stand out? What was it about that character or piece of dialogue that you still remember? Was it funny? Did it feel British?

You can respond here or on our discord, where there's a template ready to use in the new temporary ⚗️-research channel, so head over there and share as much or as little as you like.

We'd genuinely love to hear what resonated with you and why.

- Dean "Prilladog" Carter

Your support will help us improve the experience for everyone. All items from the Merchandise section are from us at Team FOLON, with cool bits from some print-on-demand suppliers.

Mainly this plaque - which really exists in Islington

Plus the exchange with Rosie Krantz and Guy Denstern in which they talk about being but players rather than main characters (obvious reference to two minor characters in Hamlet, who are elevated to main character status in a Tom Stoppard play, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead

I wish I knew more about Mod culture, because I know a lot of the names in Hackney are references to members of the Who, the Kinks and various models and whatnot, but I don't get them all and don't really appreciate the ones I do get.

Other Sharing my custom radio station for FOL

Hello Fellow wayfarers!

Ever since this wonderful mod dropped, I've had a custom radio station that has gone through many iterations. However, now I think I'm completely satisfied. Although it was never my intention to share this, I feel like the final thing is pretty good if I do humbly admit...

Therefore, I've decided to just go ahead and share it here, and if someone other than me can get some joy from it, that would be pretty neat. The goal for me when creating this playlist was foremost to find a good collection of songs. Then I felt like MOST of the playlist should be British and not sound like they're from much later than the late 70s. So there are probably some songs here that will raise some eyebrows, and that's fine! So if someone do decide to give it a listen, i hope you do enjoy and I'm happy to answer any questions if there were to be any!

Bug Cable Street Woes: Storm HQ bug

I've posted on the official Discord, but I thought I would ask here as well. I don't wanna search and read too many posts for the answer because I'm likely going to see spoilers 😬

I'm completely bugged on the quest Cable Street Woes when Camelot Attacks the 5th column Street and HQ.

Initially, I had the problem multiple times at the first stage when you attack the street; a bunch of 5th Column enemies were glitched under the ground or just random buildings.
After 4 attempts, it advanced to Storm the HQ.

But now that's where I'm stuck. I've had 20+ attempts at storming the HQ, but nothing happens when we kill everyone inside. I've tried starting over the entire quest again multiple times, but it's always the same.
There are still a bunch of doors that are locked and require a key. Sometimes there are NPCs glitched into walls and floors, so I've used console commands to open those locked doors or TCL to kill the glitched enemies. But even after I've killed all of them, nothing happens.

I wondered if it was a problem with Eve, as I assume she's probably supposed to be in there. So I tried using console commands to move her to me, but she seems to be disabled. If I enable her, she appears dead. I haven't been anywhere near the 5th column HQ in a long time, so I don't understand how she could be dead, and surely she would be set to essential up until this quest anyway.

Without major spoilers, does anyone have any suggestions or an idea on how to progress the quest without just skipping a big chunk with a console command? Thank you.

Someone mentioned a while ago that there's a pie shop next door to a barber on Fleet Street. I found it today - thanks - and enjoyed the detail of the suspiciously long object wrapped in bin bags in the gap between them.

Survival Mode and Fast Travel

I got a few mods to do fast travel between bases immersively for the game, but things are clearly still very big after 30 hours in. Folks generally get mods to enable fast travel to make things feel less tedious, or still walk places?

Bug Crystal palace volcano crash

Hello everyone,

I have encountered an issue with my game. I've decided to return to fallout london a few days back, but trying to play the game returned a crash log, so i de-installed both fallout london and fallout 4, did a fresh new install of fallout 4, downgraded it and then re-installed fallout london. Didn't had any problem from then on, until now...
I'm currently trying to get the signatures to enter parliament, but trying to go to the south of the map to get the signature from brickton makes my game crash. When I arrive near the scars of the crystal palace's volcano the game immediately closes.
The only things I use is Fallout 4 (from Steam) and the Fallout London mod from GOG. Nexus does manage the game but Hasn't been used in forever.
Is this a known issue? How can i fix the issue?

Discussion Steamdeck install?

I’ve tried several times to install Fallout London on my Steamdeck using Heroic games launcher. I’ve used the Steam version of fallout 4, the GOG version, the mod loaded ontop of both, and the one click version, but no matter what I haven’t been able to work it.

The closest I’ve gotten is getting into the default fallout 4 house with the Folon intro cinematic. I’d appreciate any help.

Question Question regarding Isle of Dogs

A lot of the factions in London seem to be based on 20th century British subcultures. The Vagabonds are tough urban cockney Peaky Blinders themed gangsters. The Pistols are 1960's-1980's British punk anarchists. Miller's Men are neonazi skinheads. The Roundels are based on a subculture called "Mods" that I learned a bit about.

My question is, what are the Isle of Dogs Syndicate based/themed on? Their colorful suits are pretty distinctive, and they have some unique slang they use. Is there an obscure British thing the IODS is inspired by?

Thameshaven Vault - player home

My take on Innsmouth Suite, the Thameshaven player home.

I wanted a secure storage facility, and so this place was an old bank vault hidden from view in the Canada Water Underground Station. The fishfolk broke through a wall and gave me the keys.

Featuring a blastdoor and defences, a personal armoury and weapons workshop, bank vault for all my gold, and the cosy back apartment room.

Discussion Favourite easter eggs/references?

Mine is the barmy tophat you can find, which is a reference to Alice in Wonderland. That shit is my childhood and I'm all for it

Side note about my experience with a game:

I absolutely adore this mod, as it heavily leans into the british stereotype and culture. I haven't played FO4 in so long because I've done everything I want to in it, it was too easy and repetitive in the end. Fallout London is a breath of fresh air, because it makes you manage your resources properly from how scarce items are. I'm always debating if I should shoot them or if I should charge at them with my electrified baton. The developers will forever have my heart with the amount of love and passion they put in this project
