SOOO we all know Epic has a lot (and I mean like LOOOTT), so tell me your favourite hidden details in the musical!! xD

Sources are Mission Odyssey and Burbank Films’ Odyssey, respectively. Check them both out, but especially the latter since it’s basically the closest we’ve gotten to Disney’s Odyssey.

IF 2D:

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (pretty much has the #1 spot in my opinion)

Sinbad (or literally anything from Dreamworks' 2D era)

Wolfwalkers

IF 3D:

DAVID

Maya and the Three

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

I don't know what flair to use

Anyway, I want to show my friends epic for the first time and I thought it would be fun to make a trivia after we watched it as a fun way to discuss things!

But I'm very bad at coming up with questions, and I'd rather not use AI.

SO, I thought I could come and ask for help. Maybe all of us together could come up with a good battery of questions! I will make a kahoot with them and make it public for everyone who wants to try too!

The flowers are intended to be moly

I had to draw Athena, because ever since I knew about this musical, I can't help bug listen to all the songs nonstop

So, Kirke’s the one who tells Odysseus about Skylla in the myth.

And Odysseus, you know what he does?

He asks, “Hey Kirke, is there a way to avoid Skylla’s cost?”

And when she says no, he STILL wears armor to ward her off.

Now let’s compare it to Epic Odysseus. Not only does he accept Skylla’s cost, he also WILLINGLY MURDERS his own men just to make sure he’s not part of it. Forced to sail through Skylla’s lair, chose to murder his men.

Art is from Gareth Hinds’ graphic novel adaptation of the Odyssey. Most accurate adaptation of the Odyssey to date.

What if he didn't drop the baby, but took it with him?

Think of how the story would change!

And the baby stayed alive through everything!

Including, like, what was it, 7years with Calypso? Wouldn't that kind of make her a mother?

Do you think Athena would have stayed with Odysseus for the baby's sake?

What do you think Penelope would say or do?

Think he cheated?

How would Telemachus have reacted to it?

Your thoughts?

This is in reference to what Mr. Jalapeño said about Different Beast (after the sirens sing "spare us" he responds with "why?" and he always thinks of the sound Wario makes), and I extended the idea to another song X)

Credits to WolfyTheWitch for the screenshot, and of course Nintendo for Wario (please don't sue me for using it, please reconsider this, spare me, spare me please, I'm just a meme who's trying to survive)

I wasn't expecting the baby. And the Tidalwave line predicting Posiden. And the Nobody meme makes sense now.

And Ruthlessness is fire but I was not expecting massacre that came with it.

And as soon as I saw him I knew he would die.

And he killed him, Polyphemus murdered my boy, Polites. He never hurt nobody. "Polite" is in his name😭😭

And not only did Odysseus not avenge him but he told that blind, one-eye fool his damned name. His accursed name!!!

I would flip a table but I would spare my one-eyed fool (my cat).

That's all for now

Edit: "You can't kill me." "Exactly." I thought Different Beast was wow but ok. Ody is insane.

"After everything you've done. How do you sleep at night." "Next to my wife" I would be scared if his dedication wasn't adorable.

Inspiration struck again. First destiny 2 and now star wars.

It's crazy hard trying to do these so my respect of those animators grows even greater

I've similar post like this before, but there's something so funny about adding these songs to multiple playlists and just hitting shuffle, I just had Circe sing "everyone's true colours are revealed in acts of lust" followed immediately by "NAH NAH HONEY IM GOOD" 🤣

Maybe it's cuz I only joined the fandom some months ago, but here's something I notice.

The most controversial characters in the musical are Eurylochus, Calypso and Antinous. But whenever I see people talk about Antinous or Calypso, they'll often throw in a caveat about how great their actor/singer is.

For example, on a post/video about Antinous, you’ll see several comments like "he's disgusting, but Ayron's voice is to die for." Or on one about Calypso, you'll see a lot of comments like "I somewhat sympathize with her, plus Barbara's singing is amazing."

However, it's rare that I see the same treatment given to Eurylochus' actor/singer. On any given Eury post/video, almost all the comments (positive or negative) are only about the character and his actions. It's rare I see a comment like "Eury sucks, but Armando's singing is fantastic." Which is a shame cuz I think dude deserves more credit for his performance and deep, rich baritenor. I really wish he would release an R&B album. The way he sings "don't forget how dangerous the gods are" feels like a warm, fuzzy blanket on my brain ❤️

Has anyone else notice this or am I just tripping?

Hi, fellow EPIC fans!

I started rewriting songs from EPIC: The Musical to help my kids memorize geography, and somehow it turned into an entire series! 😂

This one uses God Games to teach all 50 US states and their capitals.

I'm not a professional singer or anything, just a mom who loves EPIC and wanted to make learning geography a little more fun for my kids.

I thought some fellow EPIC fans might get a kick out of it!

Put the whole albums in 2x speed and some parts are really funny and others are way better like survive and remember them

Wouldn't it be syper neat and full-circle if the 'What gives you the right to deal a pain so deep' monologue from 'Polyphemus' was reused for '600 strike' or 'Odysseus'? Just a random thought but I cannot get that part of the song out of my head and it would sound super cool!
