I was just trying to enjoy a walk then I see this big starfish thing

Hey guys, my name is Suzy. I'm a 16 year old high school student. I was up last night thinking my girly thoughts, and I was just suddenly amazed by how awesome Guy Gardner, Earth's one and only REAL Green Lantern, is.

Think about it he's brave, has a cool jacket, is incredibly dreamy, and SUPER cute! He volunteers his time helping the other members of the Justice Gang (which is their real and final name) learn to be better heroes. And he's a trendsetter, all my friends agree bowl cuts are so in right now!

I just wanted to make a thread where we could all appreciate Green Lantern and talk about how great he is. Thanks for listening! Have a great 6!

So I'm dressing up as supergirl for Halloween and I'm making the costume myself. From what I can tell from the images I've seen online is the skirt is just a simple A-line. But my friend swears that it's really a Skort (shorts built into the skirt). Which makes sense, I can't imagine her risking flashing the world when she's flying around kicking ass. But does anyone actually know. If there are any pictures or videos that show off the costume, I'd really appreciate it. I want to make my costume as accurate as possible

I am trying to invest in a better pc, for work and the daily life as a whole, I was thinking about getting the latest CPU from the WayneTech Lite line, which would be more affordable for me at the moment, or I could buy an older, but more one from LuthorCorp from a more potent line, what do you guys think?

Hey I’ve been in living in gotham for a while for work but grew up mainly in rushville, I looked at this sub and have been seeing a green lantern symbol? In Gotham we have one for the Batman, seem pretty similar, are the green lantern and Batman possibly in kahoots? Will Batman join the justice gang?

Beloved hero Green Lantern, real name Hal Jordan, known for his service of 30 years in crime fighting and global protection was reported to have tragically passed away in rural Rushville, Nebraska.

Following 10 years serving time in prison for the charge of reckless endangerment which he himself proclaimed to be the main cause of the alien disaster that occurred in the rural town, Hal Jordan was released and moved to Rushville, Nebraska, where he spent the final weeks of his life living in privacy. The people of Rushville reported that he was "nosey, irritating and bothersome" to the locals, as he would repeatedly attempt to make up for the alien disaster by offering to do small errands, favors and help the people of Rushville in anyway he could, despite being unwelcomed by the community.

Local investigation reported that Mr. Jordan was found with a fatal gunshot wound to his head and a broken nose. Two weeks prior to his death, Mr. Jordan had also suffered an attempted arson attack in his own residency, which he was rescued from by a local who will remain anonymous according to Mr. Jordan's wishes.

The local police department also reported that Mr.Jordan's funeral and burial was done in privacy, prior to the report of his death, with the attendance of his friends and family, along with current acting Green Lantern, Guy Gardner. A tragic conclusion to the life of a national hero and a legend of the superhero world, and certainly not what we would expect for a retiree beloved Green Lantern.

Personally, I think Ryan Reynolds would do a great job portraying Hal, he got the face close enough to young Hal and he seems like he got the right attitude to fit a green lantern already

I heard from somewhere that Guy Gardner likes it when you vomit on his chest. I'm a real big fan of him, so is there any chance he would let me puke on him as a form of gratitude when he saves us? If not, would fresh vomit stored in a bag be sufficient as a gift?

Following the tragic passing of the original beloved Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, multiple sources have reported a strange sighting of a flying green entity in the sky, first spotted near Rushville, Nebraska.

Though at first thought to be currently acting Green Lantern, Guy Gardner, Lordtech has denied such a claim, saying that the company has Guy Gardner's route on watch and that this mysterious green glow does not follow Guy Gardner's known route.

Rumors speculate that a new Green Lantern has risen to the scene, inspired by Hal Jordan's legacy. Others say that it might be a new alien sighting, or simply a strange flying meta with a green glow unrelated to the known Lantern Corps.

Whatever it may be, the locals of Rushville have kept quiet about the possible identity of this flying green glow, following the unwelcomed visit of Guy Gardner to the town.

Okay, so I (M47) was supposed to go to a charity event with Bruce Wayne last night where we were going to discuss some business propositions. But I was unable to go due to an “self inflicted illness” for lack of a better word.

I spent today recovering and I just talked to Wayne about places we could go I mentioned this place called Superbabes. Seemed like a Bar Food rustic kind of place and I mentioned it to Bruce and he laughed for like ten minutes. He said something among the lines about how the paparazzi would have a field day if he was caught dead in a place like that.

I checked the reviews. It somehow has a .5 stars.

What’s so bad about Superbabes?

I'm on PTO (thanks Bruce!) and I decided to return home in Nebraska and do some amateur astronomy stuff like I did as a kid. While pointing my telescope around Rushville's airspace, I can see a faint green glow forming a giant ball(?) in the sky. Is it related to the 2016 incident or what? theories welcome!

And no, it's not that bowlcut motherfucker's beacon

So Markovia is directly next to Slovenia and is a predominantly South Slavic speaking country so why wasn’t it folded into Yugoslavia after ww2

To the people of Park Row. I am deeply sorry for my conduct this evening. While, the Mossburg 500 I had brought me was not actually loaded (I had stuffed it with marshmallows in my manic state), I likely still traumatized the patrons of the restaurant. I did not mean anything of political intent when I called the patrons, many of whom being people of color “hellspawn”. Racism has no place in my heart or at Schmidt Steel Industries. This was a manic/religious psychosis state brought upon a misguided attempt to become immune to the various chemical agents common to Gotham City (in this case being fear toxin). But I am again, very sorry for my conduct.

I would also like to thank Gotham’s “Robin” for tackling me to the ground and administrating to me some antidote to the fear toxin in my system.

I am not a criminal. I have no intention of hurting or harming anyone. I do not have any desire to threaten the lives of anyone or anything.

As a way to apologize for my conduct. I will be donating $150,000 to the Park Row Children’s Fund. While I cannot fix broken trust in one night, I hope this can be a stepping stone to make amends on behalf of myself and Schmidt Steel.

I am more than willing to take questions and concerns at this time.

Yours,

CEO of Schmidt Steel, Karl J. Schmidt Jr.

OOC: Imagine this is a subreddit for Gotham’s rich and influential.

Hello GF!

My name is Karl Schmidt (M47), owner of Schmidt Steel from Cleveland.

So I am traveling to Gotham to meet up with Wayne during his big Charity Ball to talk about some proposals. But I am clearly not from Gotham. I wanted to be prepared for anything.

So this week I bought some fear toxin pills from the internet. I have no clue if they are from the Halloween guy or if they are like bootleg. I got it from a guy who knows a guy in Metropolis.

I took about 3 20mg pills with my morning coffee. My hope is to microdose myself so I have some degree of immunity to the various chemical the weirdos of Gotham use.

But the event is tonight.

So, like how long do the effects of fear toxin last in small doses and like will people know?

Thanks,

Karl

He should have served his time by now and be released already, so why hasn't the press given us any update on him? I would like to know how he thinks of the current Green Lantern in action. Personally, i think he might like him, I know Gardner's noctorious for being a jerk, but he has a heart and I think Jordan could see that, not to mention, he's a Green Lantern, Jordan's successor, so he must have been chosen for a reason over everybody else, so Jordan would probably have some level of respect for Guy Gardner. I just hope Jordan's not under any fire for the Rushville tragedy, he took responsibility for it even though he tried his best. I can't imagine what could be going through his head right now.

Saw him on a talk show last year, haven't heard anything about him since other than he apparently tried to apply for a position in the Justice Gang and failed, which, thank god, the last thing we need is a mad broody, murderous vigilante in a superhero team. But ever since then, basically static, like the guy just disappeared off the surface of the earth. Did he retire from trying to become a superhero? Or did the government put him back in the can again?

Has anyone ever got a good look at the Batman? He or it gets a lot of credits from the news and GCPD for doing most of their work for them, but has anyone actually been close enough to the Batman to see if he's somekind of meta human with bat powers, a bat mutant or a demon, or just anything?

I'm new in Gotham and I just went to a shop and saw this on the roof

Hello everyone, I've been here for about two weeks now. If you saw my previous post from last week, I'm a college student who moved here for my major in prosthetics. Anyway, on Thursday I visited my cousin's place to hang out, but he had some guys in ski masks over even though it's not even winter yet. On top of that, I found a gun on the table. Should I be worried for my cousin, guys?

I'm from india and i wonder how you guys could live at america especially in gotham like lots of shit happen there and many people are still willing to live there and don't let me come to metropolis superman literally attracts lots of monsters and aliens almost on daily basis or in central city literally got that reverse flash maniac running around?
