MOD ANNOUNCEMENT! Inktober 2026!
66
Upvotes
Calling all artists!
It's soon October, which means it's time for a brand new season of Inktober!
As always, whether you plan to draw every day or whenever you feel like it, whether you follow a set word list or use your own, and whether you're a beginner, experienced, or somewhere in the middle, you are more than welcome to grace us with your creations!
We will proceed like we did with Smaugust, you will see a brand new Inktober flair within the subreddit that you can use here, and you will also be able to share your work in the related Inktober 2026 submissions thread in our Discord server (https://discord.gg/fNSAbzvYKp) which we will unlock by then!
We have shared our very own r/dragons prompt list for Inktober 2026, which we suggest to follow, but any work following any other list is more than welcome! The board (and list) have been graciously done by u/DragonHoarder13 (or Thorven from our Discord server!).
Happy Inktober!

The time has come at last! After much hard work and consideration, the r/dragons Official Discord Server is live and ready for you to join! https://discord.gg/fNSAbzvYKp
Come join for good conversation and fun!
A few differences you might notice as you get the lay of the land:
There are market forum channels specifically for those who wish to offer commissions or products. Please keep the rules for these in mind while using them. Advertising outside of the market forum channels is not allowed.
There are also several different voice chat channels for different things. Please be sure you are using the appropriate one while streaming. i.e Gaming should be done in a gaming specific VC and general hanging out should be done in the general VC.

Art What room has the Treasure?

I WANTED THE DRAGON DAMMIT
based off of a meme I saw on twitter
When I saw this lowkey I immediately read the first door and didn't bother to read the other doors and went DOOR 1 DOOR 1 YESSSS
then I read the comments and saw people going "yeah 1 is the right option, it contains the treasure"
And I was literally like "...treasure?"
A truth table easily solves this problem but to be honest I just read the first sign and did not read the others lol

Discussion Ninjago Dragon: Nya’s Water Dragon Form

Upvotes
From the same season as Wojira is the next dragon which is Nya. Yes, I mean Nya, the water ninja, Kai’s sister, Jay’s yang, etc.
When Wojira was reawakened in Seabound and flooded the realm, Nya merged with her element to take on the sea serpent. While she has her human appearance, she also had a water dragon form that she used during her fight with Wojira.

This goes out to you for being a great auntie to the server, we truly love and appreciate you for your safe spaces and care.
Personally, you have helped me get onto a path of self improvement, and I am eternally grateful to you.
I spent 7 hours and 44 minutes on this, and I love it so much, I hope you do too

Inktober Inktober 15: Wings of fire fanart

Wings of fire fan art. I was actually into the series but toward the end of 2nd arc, I lost interest in the series. Recently, I saw some fan arts of wof posted on a discord server I'm in, and I've been watching some wof videos, which led me back into the series. Don't know if I'll read the book series again, but it is something that I am thinking sbout doing.
