Should I have known they would have themed stamps? I was expecting them all to be like the top corner one. (Not mad about it, but was surprised)

Hi, everyone!
When I was a child, I used to love golf. I really enjoyed playing golf simulators, and I often begged my parents to take me to mini-golf courses.
As time went by, I grew up and realized that building even a couple of holes on a traditional golf course literally requires damaging the environment quite badly. And, obviously, that disgusts me.
Years ago, I discovered disc golf, an environmentally friendly sport that offers many of the benefits of traditional golf without some of its downsides (it's expensive, it disrupts nature, you know).
Fortunately, I moved to a city quite far from my hometown in search of better opportunities, and it has a disc golf course! [ https://youtu.be/jk9nNFhTDh8?si=jgyp8f5M6x0XmBMC ] I bought my first set of discs, and now I'm ready to share my journey and experiences with you.
Let's begin!

I don't NEED one, but u know...

I'm 63 years old. Haven't thrown much at all in 2 years. Not regularly (5-7 rounds weekly) in 10 years. I'm trying to get back into it, but now I can rarely throw over 200ft and need to be well into C1 to hit 80% of my putts. I enjoy it still, but would be embarrassed to throw with peers. Should I be?

I don’t NEED this but I’m curious if anyone has a recommendation for a throwing putter you can hyzerflip fresh out of the box. hyzerflip is my gap hitting form. I have an understable Proxy, but it just turns a bit. I don’t have a slow disc that’s super understable. Anyone have Heat level understability slow disc recommendations?

375-400 golf power, I can get it to low to mids 400s with some max distance lines. I’d like it to be somewhat workable out of box. Preferred release angle is slight hyzer.
My favorite driver ever is an older pro destroyer. For like a month it was perfect. I’d release on slight hyzer flipping up and getting some controllable ride to the right, then fading back to finish straight. Then since it’s a pro plastic this stage did not last long, lol.
I tried out a Q-Line white domey 172g DD1. Brand new it flew kinda how I wanted. But I quickly found myself overcooking it and having to put so much hyzer and height on it. Just felt very touchy and you need so much airspace with how much it rides to the right. Definitely bombs, just too touchy.
I got a Q-Line DD3 and love it for pushing and big hyzers. Just not nearly workable enough at my arm speed to get it to flip and ride. Needs to be beat in a lot more.
Tried out a high 160s domey pink I-Blend emperor. I was hoping would feel similar to my pro destroyer. But it feels nothing like it, feels stiffer and sharper in hand. Probably just the fact the pro destroyer is a lot older and broken in. Not quite as workable as I hoped. Thrown with slight hyzer it’s not popping up much, but thrown flat I tend to turn and burn it. Maybe I just need to beat it in more?

Their description:
The Infinite Discs Squire is the first 8-speed fairway driver in the Infinite lineup, filling the gap between slower fairway drivers and higher-speed control drivers. It offers easy glide and dependable control, making it approachable for newer players while giving experienced throwers a reliable option for shaping accurate fairway lines.
Originally run as "Prototype 2" during a prototyping phase in early 2026.

I wanna get him a gift and know nothing about it. I've done a ton of research and can't find Gannon Burhs range finder. My cousin love's Gannon, always talks about him, and doesn't have a range finder but needs one. thanks for any help!

Does anybody else have issues with MVP/Axiom/Streamline’s forehand approach disc lineup?
As someone who mostly bags gyro, right now in my forehand approach slots I bag a range, tempo, and deflector.
I surprisingly don’t bag a pyro anymore because I can replace it with the tempo for forehand and personally like the balance more for stable backhands. But for forehand approach meathooks the deflector is the best overstable 5 speed on the market in my opinion. It doesn’t go far, you can chop it as much as you want, and it falls out of the sky.
If there was an electron/fission version that beat in faster than premium plastic, I feel like it would be the perfect approach disc that has the torque resistance to be manipulated and the wear to extend flights when you want to go far (can resist more torque than a pyro and go further than a premium deflector).
I feel like it would fill the spot super well and am surprised they haven’t done it already, considering discs like the matrix have an electron version. I think it would be in a bunch of people’s bags.
If anyone from MVP happens to read this, this would be awesome!

We’ve had a bang up year (weather-wise) in the pnw, which allowed me to enjoy seemingly endless summer conditions. As much as I do love summer golf, for me, nothing beats ripping discs surrounded by color changing foliage. The crisp, foggy mornings that turn into warm afternoons once the marine layer burns off.
So are you team summer? Or team fall?

It took less than a few hours for a kind stranger to see my post and find my discs! Thank you a million times over to u/buzzcut13! He doesn’t even play disc golf but still took the time to help me out and got my plastic back to me!

I made the switch yesterday to putting with a Zone SS. I was putting with an Envy, but I’m simply much more consistent with a mid-range. Anyone else?

Recently hopped on the Meridian Mojave train and I can’t speak highly enough about this disc. It immediately unlocked a new level of putting for me personally, and has really boosted my confidence in my short game.
I had been spending the better part of the last 6 months really loving putting with Gateway Eraser Wizards. That was, until I played with a local MPO player who was using Meridian discs to putt with. Ended up picking one up a couple weeks ago and it’s already taken over as my c1/c2 go to OS putter. To me, this might be the new goat. Pictured is a measured birdie putt, one of my longest.
But I want to know… what’s your goated putter?

Anyone north of the border got any insight on the Toronto Island course? Is it worth the trip over from downtown? I've seen it on UDisc but would love an actual opinion on it.

Hey everyone! I’ve only played about 5 times, but I’m a decent player, pretty athletic, and throw the disc well. I’ve already joined a local group and signed up for a tournament lol.
I’m also a good ball golfer, and much like golf, I enjoy shaping shots rather than just throwing straight. I live in RI, where we have plenty of wooded courses and tunnel shots, so I definitely need discs that fly straight, too. I’m looking to build a small bag that gives me options for different lines, both left and right.
Here’s what I have so far:
Champion Wraith — probably won’t throw it yet. I’ve read enough about beginners and high-speed drivers lol.
Champion Valkyrie
Z Buzzz
Shark (cheap plastic)
Aviar and Colt putters
I’m a minimalist, so I can’t imagine carrying 20 discs. I’d like to keep it to 6–8 discs max.
What’s redundant in my current bag? What would you recommend adding to cover shot shapes I’m missing? I’m left-handed, if that makes a difference.
Thanks, guys!
