How to help acclimate pregnant goats?
Like the title says, I've got 2 pregnant goats and I was wondering how to help acclimate them to their new home as a first time goat owner

I'm a first-time goat owner and I'm getting 2 possibly bred nigerian dwarf goats and while I've done extensive research, I know that there's a lot that research doesn't tell you to prepare for. What should I actually know/expect?

Like the title says, I'm new to this and want to know how to prepare for birthing/milking goats for the first time. I want to put together a list of equipment (with links for specific items) to get before any babies are had

What can I change about her to do better?? feeding her Sudan hay and alfalfa orchard mix, and starting to switch her grain over to the purina goat chow plus up. She was born feb 9 of this year, but she did catch coccidia 3 times when she was younger, so I think she may be on the smaller side?? 28-29 lbs. she placed last in class (though this is our first show and first goat so I’m not mad about it) so I’m tryna figure out what we can do better. Also I noticed people kinda tickle their backs and they kinda drop, but when I try she doesn’t do it??

I would have thought it was France or possibly Canada. See the answer here https://dairynews.today/news/india_remains_the_world_s_largest_goat_milk_producer_5130428.html It is India.

Allowing more space per kid is best - see https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/42536263/ and reduces the chances of coccidiosis becoming a problem.

92% of Australian dairy goats have worms, especially barbers pole worms https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2667114X26000464?via%3Dihub . As 80 % of worm eggs are produced by just 30% of goats, targeted selected treatment is recommended.

Goats produce milk differently than do cows & hence have a higher number for normal milk somatic cell counts https://farmtario.com/livestock/ontario-halts-goat-milk-scc-penalties-amid-industry-pushback/ Ontario authorities have now recognized this. While cows milk gets below 250,000 cells goats are often above 1 Million.
