hair is so shiny after it dries that it looks oily and goes oily quickly - product recs wanted

ive been trialing alot of shampoos recently and i bought the L'Oréal hydro pure one since people were hailing it as a godsend for oily hair - but it has not worked AT ALL and now my hair becomes so shiny that it looks greasy and becomes heavy and oily literally overnight. how do i fix this? is there any shampoos that i can use for oily hair that needs washing every 2 days that WON'T do this to my hair and actually leave it feeling clean?

my 3 issues are:

1) hair becomes so stripped it produces too much oil in response and becomes greasy

2) hair isnt stripped at all and left exactly how it was leaving product build up

3) hair isnt cleaned enough, feels weighed down, and formula is too conditionery to a point where it makes it oily (the case with L'Oréal)

ive tried dry shampoo. ive tried double washing. ive tried washing in less intense temperatures, nothing works. i had a kids shampoo for a while which worked but that ran out and i didn't rebuy, im now reading that its bad for oily hair as it doesn't properly clean but would it be alright for use if i used a clarifying shampoo once a week?

if not, please recommend some products, (affordable tho since im broke) i hate hate hate feeling like my hair is oily, it's sending me nuts esp in exam season.

Is Head & Shoulders Bare safe for color treated hair?

I’ve been getting back into dying my hair, and I did blonde ombré balayage. After a month it turned yellow. I got it glossed to correct it and it looked wonderful, until I washed my hair and it significantly changed color. I realized it was my shampoo! I use regular head & shoulders for itchy scalp.

I bought a sulfate free color safe dandruff shampoo called “Jupiter” and then I also bought head & shoulders bare. H&S bare says it’s sulfate free and minimal ingredients. Is it safe for color treated hair? Can anyone weigh in on this?

Please please suggest shampoo for oily scalp. Herbal essence white strawberry caused hairfall to me. I'm also using ketoconazole once a week and seeing a dermatologist but want for other washes

I think my shampoo is causing me to break out

My scalp has always been a little itchy and I’ve been using the biolage strength recovery shampoo for over 5 years now. Here recently, my ears and sides of my neck have been itching soooo bad. I’m thinking it’s the shampoo because it gets more itchy after using it.

I wash my hair every other day since it’ll get really itchy after 2 days.

Is there another type of shampoo or oil that is good for dry scalp but would help with the itchiness? Should I try a baby shampoo?

I’m not sure what to do at this point.

I hope this is the right place to post this.

I have very dry hair, and it gets extremely oily after only a day of not washing it, it is medium thickness but it gets really tangled and flat if I don’t wash it and the texture is awful. But I also think that I have been washing it too much and it has been damaging it really badly, it has been making my hair really frizzy and visibly damaged. Anybody have any advice on how to care for it? I’m not sure what to do at this point. I was never taught how to care for my hair, so I have only ever washed it, and that’s about it.

(I’m 17F, and my hair is straight for the most part)

Longer lasting Shampoo tip

I’ve been doing this for a few years now and I’m curious if anyone else does this. Also, if anyone else has any tips that ya’ll do that is more effective that saves product and money, I would love to hear about them.
I am a daily hair washer with thin/fine hair. I do this with any shampoos I use and has worked with all. But after wetting your hair, use a pea size of your shampoo and rub it in your hand then rub/massage all over your scalp only, just focusing on your head, not the length of your hair. It will not lather or feel like it’s doing anything but it’s actually getting the oils out. After massaging your whole scalp for about 30sec or longer if you want. Then rinse it out, take another pea to a nickel size of shampoo ( depending on how thick and long your hair is) repeat the process and it will lather up and then you pull the rest of your hair up and wash like normal. My shampoo last me 3 months or even a little longer. (Before, it might have last a month) Keep in mind, I do have thin/fine hair. Not the thinnest of some people but pretty thin, but long almost to my rear. If you have thicker hair and the pea size doesn’t work then start out nickel size. Either way, more than likely, you will still use less than what you have been using, not having to buy shampoo as often. Just curious, does anyone else do this? If you’re not, try it out and let me know what you think. I would love to hear your experience.
Don’t forget, if you have some cost and quantity effective tips, I would love to hear them.

HELPP!! Hard water is killing my hair

Does anyone know any good chelating or Clarifying shampoo to remove mineral buildup from hair length and scalp.

Hard water is making my hair dry and brittle I’m using gentle shampoo, hair conditioner, hair mask, leave in conditioner, silicone serum, hair oil tried bond repair treatment as well but somehow my hair still look dry and frizzy. It started when I moved so I guessing hard water is the culprit here.

Shampoo/oil recommendations for very thick wavy hair? (EU)

Hey, I'm looking for some recommendations for a good shampoo and hair oil.

I've been using the Difeel Rosemary & Mint shampoo and Difeel Rosemary & Mint strengthening oil, and honestly my hair has looked better with these than with any other shampoos I've tried. That said, I recently heard that Difeel products aren't actually that good, so I'm wondering if I should switch.

I have very thick, wavy hair and I'm mainly looking for something that can:

Help with an itchy scalp and dandruff

Keep my hair/scalp healthy

Help my hair grow as well/fast as possible

Keep my hair looking and feeling good

I'm in the EU, so I'd preferably like recommendations for products that are easily available here.

I'm not really knowledgeable about hair products, so I'd appreciate any recommendations or explanations of what ingredients/products I should actually be looking for. Also, if Difeel isn't actually bad and the criticism is mostly just internet stuff, feel free to let me know.

Also I don't know if this helps but I've tried jojoba oil nightly hair masks before, and it worked wonders.

Anddd some conditioner recommendations would be quite nice too 😅
