Hey, this is my first post here. I recently built a 9mm RDB and really enjoyed it, so I decided to pick up a CMMG AR10 parts kit from EGP and a new MK3 lower. Unfortunately, they misidentified the parts as coming from a MK3, when they were actually from a MK47. I now have an entire gun minus the lower, but the stripped lower is not offered for sale. I submitted an email regarding a special order for a stripped lower, but I have no experience with CMMG customer service. Am I SOL?

Which company(s) make good cheek risers? I've already searched online. Google has terrible signal to noise ratio these days. As soon as AR-15 is mentioned, the search is worthless.

I have a LPVO and 1.5" tall cantilever mount on order. It would be nice to have a 1.125"-1.25" tall riser.

The cheek riser is needed because of the scope height. Please advise!

I purchased a CMMG Banshee Zeroed back in April and it finally (nearly 2 months later than their stated lead time) shipped to my LGS a couple weeks ago. I picked it up and when I took it home I noticed a pretty blatant issue: the barrel and handguard aren't aligned. I've tried to reach out to CMMG customer service which states their replies can take up to 5 business days, and that if I try to check in I'll get slapped back to the bottom of the queue. Others here report replies in hours.

I sent the email out (after hours) on Oct 2 and while it's only a little past their response time, I can't help but feel some type of way about spending $2300 on a rifle, getting something that shouldn't have passed QC, and then sitting here without a phone number or reply from CS about how they're going to fix this. Does anyone have some kind of contact or is there a rep on this subreddit who can help me?

Made a purchase through a 3rd party to an FFL. First major product I've bought from CMMG other than minor lower parts kits etc. Product showed up and parts of it didn't match the description on several websites.

None of those details really matter to the post.

Figured I was out of luck because most CS processes arnt even worth the time, but decided to do it against my better judgement.

Dug for the CS number and of course the automated process basically told me to kick rocks and go to website. (I hate not talking to a person to resolve an issue)

Went to the website and followed the automated customer support portal thingy and figured it would be weeks if not at all.

It wasn't even an hour and I had an email and problem resolved.

Color me impressed.

Just thought I'd share my experience. First experience w CMMG has been better than solid.

Has anyone removed either faux suppressor yet on their zeroed banshee?

I’ve tried boiling water, letting it soak overnight, and now a torch and still can’t get it off.

The bumper in the bolt carrier is crumpled almost split in two (after 2k rounds) and I don't want to use it for fear of further damage. I would be happy to buy a backup or two, but the only one CMMG lists on their site says it is for ".300 BLK, 5.56mm, .22 ARC, .338 ARC, 5.7x28mm, 6.5 Grendel, 6mm ARC". They have the bumper exchange so clearly this is an issue many have, but the exchange says it will not work for 9mm - so I assume these same bumpers for sale would not work either.
I do see one way to get it, by purchasing the 100 dollar bolt carrier kit. A bit galling since I just need this 8 dollar piece of plastic.

Even more galling is the terrible customer service from CMMG. They have not replied to a single email or contact I have sent trying to get this resolved. Tried through multiple email addresses, through the contact us page , and through the ask a product question page. Tried through their useless AI chat. Tried calling, and the very first thing the robot tells you is "we don't do customer service on the phone, use this (useless) email address to contact us".

Too bad for me I saw all the old reddit threads about how good their service is - one of the things that convinced me to buy from them. Their service is crap now. I spend so much on this hobby, but never another dollar with CMMG.

Well this turned into a rant - back to the question - any advice how I can get the part I need? Is there as 3d printed model somewhere maybe? Or get someone at CMMG to reply?

Good afternoon, I just picked up my Banshee MK4 SBR 300Blk. And I was curious if there might be any interference with putting a one slot mlok pic rail on the hand guard with the gas tube? I was thinking about putting a 45° offset light on the top rail and then on either side of the hand guard put a pressure pad (if needed) and on the other side or even top mounted put a holosun green laser attachment.

* already decided on the Sahara 300 or LPM Anthem S2 or even a Dead Air Nomad 30 for a suppressor

I’ve seen post where others (and now I) have had fractures of the CMMG Dissent firing pin where the main stem and “flange ” of the FP meet (looks like a common failure point from other posts). While contacting CMMG CS for a replacement FP (for 6.5”, 9mm, MkGs) is the next step, I have not seen comments as to whether the FP is a std mil spec variety of if it’s a propriety FP configuration.

So I know this sort of has been asked before but all the answers are see seem to be outdated. What is the reliability like for a 9mm Banshee upper on a AR lower? Can anyone share their experience using this setup?

I’m thinking of running a Banshee upper on a LWRC lower and using a 9mm suppressor.

This is my 6.5” Dissent build. What can I improve here? I kinda like the top mounted light. I tried an A3 stock but I hated how it felt to use.

Nearing the $3k mark of money put into this. Lots of little supporting mods to make it feel comfy. Loving this setup though. Picked up the holographic sight today after having a Holosun ARO, and I can’t help but feel like it really brought this pistol together.

I have a 5" Banshee (and tax stamp). The handguard is 4" (single mlok slot) and has an integrated handstop at the end. Anyone have a recommendation for a VFG that actually comfortably fits? The BCM that I've tried is too fat to get my hand between the handstop and VFG. Picture is stock image off the website of the relevant model.

I just picked up this SBR Banshee from my Local FFL and was curious on how you guys if you have been, mounting any lights? i of course saw/see on the rail there is a break in the pic slots. are you mounting a touch pad still on top or some how putting it on the other side of the rail (on MLOK side) but through a MLOK to Pic Rail attachment?

I plan on putting an EoTech 300 blk or a Holosun 510C for an Optic and slapping a Ridgeback Sahara 300 or Nomad 30 for a suppressor

I have been on a quest to find some inexpensive ammo to use with my Endeavor. I want to use a heavier grain and have been using Frontier FR320, but I have been disappointed with the shot groups. I saw a couple of articles on the Frontier FR262 ammo and picked up a couple of boxes to test it out. I did like the results better. Shooting 4 5-shot groups with each ammo, my results were better with the FR262. It is a bit cheaper as well, which is a plus.

Load testing reloads today. Berry’s 220gn and NOE Cast 225gn.
Shooting 25yds at my “home range” for the quick testing in the heat of summer. Too hot to shoot much.
Berry’s shot better than the NOE’s but need to work on my OAL on those.
Bullet trap- Walmart storage tub 18”x24” filled with 2.5 bags rubber mulch

Came out really nice. Shout out to Comstock and Banshee Defense. These are by far the nicest muzzle devices / adapters I’ve ever used.

Used Comstock 9mm recessed micro brake with a 17mm Accuwasher and the RPA Ti adapter. Perfect suppressor gap with the Millkman.

So I have a 10.5" 300blk Dissent upper that I've been struggling to remove the comp on. It looks like it's the cmmg zeroed linear compensator. Are these Rocksett? I've tried the heat gun and wet towel method, as well as boiling it for 30+ minutes but no dice. The only thing I've successfully done is some damage to the finish with multiple attempts to wrench it off. Any tips or do I just need a bigger bar?

Update:

Strap wrenches worked, couldn't get a good purchase on the compensator with one so I used a 3/4 wrench, with the strap wrench on the main body pulling the opposite way. Took just a bit of muscle to pop loose, and did in fact only have a crush washer.

Hey everyone! I just bought my first suppressor and trying to figure out the best way to mount it on my 9mm banshee. Any help or insight would be awesome. I’m new to the suppressor game!

Hi all. This is my Gen 2 CMMG MK4 Banshee 12.5 Pistol. Bought it as a birthday present for myself late June and have been building it here and there. Came with most of the ZEROED line stuff already (besides Suppressor). So far I really it like. The cerakote is very weak and comes off whenever taking on or off accessories. So far I’d say that’s really my only complaint. I haven’t had the time to go to the range yet so will update you with performance post soon. Only other plans were thinking of maybe super safety and Eotech XPS3 in the future.
