This is so random but I was visiting over the summer and bought a cheap snow globe for my son at Hearst Castle. He’s obsessed with it but it broke (because kids) and so I was wondering if I could find someone who lives locally that I could pay to just go up and get a replacement and put it in the mail for me. They don’t have any kind of online shop.

This is a long shot but not sure where else to post or what to do. I was driving north on Cabrillo when a grayish wagon type car pulled out from near Moonstone Beach area and their [brown?] purse went flying onto the road. Looked like it might've been on your roof on the driver's side. There are a lot of cars going the opposite way and I tried to catch you doing the speed limit 55 but you were flying! Just wanted to let you know what happened in case you're still in the area and or need closure lol

I’m getting married in Cambria! Paso local, work in Cambria, and very excited as it’s fast approaching. Due to family and bridal party changing plans, our room block is still quite empty. Want to offer the discounted rate to anyone who would like to stay at the hotel on Moonstone Beach, and if you’re interested you’re welcome to join our wedding too!

Discount link has expired, thanks for all your well wishes!

Hi, my partner and I were in Cambria yesterday (8/31/26) to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We walked a coast trail that starts at the end of a frontage road called Lone Palm Drive. That was the last place my partner was confirmed to have his keys. Later, we went to a few spots in town (including the Garden Shops complex and True Earth Market), checked in at Rigdon House, and had dinner at Brydge. We have checked at all of these places with no luck yet, but just wanted to put this out there in case it helps. The keys are a BMW key fob and a few other regular keys attached. Thanks for any help.

Hi all!

My lovely partner and I are arriving in Cambria for a quick weekend getaway at around 10 am Saturday and have to leave around 9:30 am the next day Sunday. We will be staying Fogcatcher Inn for the night.

I won't lie, all I have so far is Hearst Castle (maybe, will be a first for both of us), Moonstone Beach (right in front of our room), and maybe Sea Chest (?)...

Anything else worth checking out for our itinerary?

We're both pretty easy going, love walking around/hiking and just want to enjoy each other's company :) maybe rent some bikes. We're also adventurous eaters and into seafood. We're also into cute knick knacks and want something for our home to remember our trip.

Looking to spend around $200-$250 for all activities between the two of us. Any idea helps!

All day pictures feel otherworldly and calming. I think about it everyday. Hope to return soon.

I’m visiting family here in Cambria and am admiring all the dragonflies flying by! So cool! Looks like it’s the time of year for their migration.

We usually stay in Pacific Grove during Christmas week but we’re thinking it might be great to spend 2026 Christmas in Cambria. Is there anyplace in the area that does a Christmas brunch?

Planning an engagement trip and I would like to stay somewhere nice. It’ll be in December so it will be quite cold. We would like a hot tub onsite, and a nice breakfast available. Also looking for hotels with good spas, or other spa recommendations in the area. Would like the hotel to be centrally located, but a short drive is not a deal breaker. I just want the vibe to feel relaxing and romantic.

Hi - what is your favorite bar in and around town which has the best bartenders making the best cocktails? And what is your favorite cocktail?

Also which bar has the best vibe and ambience

Live in south county but have family set on living in cambria. They plan on buying a home that will need renovation and a general contractor.

Any advice on contacts for an honest and professional agent and contractor I can point them toward (or away from)?

Had fun. Great weather.

I have had a really stressful year that has been impacting my physical health and will finally get a break in my schedule next month. I am planning to stay in Cambria three nights and plan to decompress.

Can anyone recommend locations/activites where I can: walk/run, sit outdoors and enjoy nature, eat delicious food, read a book, relax, breathe, listen to birds and ocean waves, and/or any other opportunities for self-care?

Thank you. ❤️

Does anyone know of any food trucks or vendors that will come and cater a party. I am looking for a pizza company, tacos, and bbq as possibilities.

Hey there, so I have a van at an auto shop in Cambria (Gerber's Auto).

If anybody plans to come to the SF Bay Area sometime this weekend or early next week, I'd love to pay you to drive it up here. I can meet you anywhere in the Bay, though would prefer to meet in SF.

Cheers, Zach

We’ve known that the hike is beautiful, but we normally turn back at the tree line. This is what waits if you go a little farther…

Hi everyone,

I’m planning a surprise engagement at Fiscalini Ranch Preserve in Cambria, CA (near Moonstone Beach) and I’m looking for a photographer who has experience with surprise proposals.

Details:

• Location: Fiscalini Ranch Preserve / Bluff Trail
• Date: Saturday, April 18th
• Time: Around sunset
• Style: Natural, candid, coastal vibes

I’m planning to propose along the bluff trail overlooking the ocean and would love someone familiar with the area who can help coordinate discreetly and capture the moment.

If you’re a photographer (or have recommendations), please drop your portfolio/Instagram and pricing. Also open to any tips for the best spots at Fiscalini!

Thanks so much!

Hey guys, coming into Cambria today with 3 friends on bikes, wanted to see if any locals would be so kind to let us camp out in their backyard! We would be so incredibly grateful!

jw. thanks

Hi everyone,

The wife and I are planning on getting away from home and celebrate New Years. Wanted to check with you all how is the vibe of New Years at Cambria. Any specific events or anything to lookout for?

We are 30s couple, sufficiently energetic (in case someone wants to suggest any hikes lol) and are very open to try new things (we would absolutely prefer vegan food, but vegetarian is fine too)

Any and all suggestions are most welcome. Thank you in advance!
