I always feel like iw zombies has the best detailed nuke as instead of just a white screen you and burning flesh you see the falling ashes and gas clouds the nuke produces

So beat it 6 times now but I still can't get it consistently so had a few questions for the pros out there.

Do you prefer to go in on standard or cursed? I've been liking cursed with the Mr peeks mayhem for the golden armor and PaP4 but the final phase definitely seems harder on cursed.

For the Warden fight do you prefer to run aether shroud or frenzy guard? I've been running frenzy guard but I realize with the sokol belt fed this may be a waste.

Besides the meta VMP, Sokol, Mammoth, has anyone been having any luck or liking a different gun? Also best wall buy for the Warden? Spinning the box gets old

Assuming all perma perks do you like equivalent exchange or dying wish? I keep going back and forth on those two.

Lastly what the hell is damaging me in the Warden fight when I'm flying around the arena with the grapple, I'm not near any zombies, stingers or the Warden yet I'm getting constant damage like I'm in the purple fog on the Z Rex or Caltheris battle and then I have to pop my frenzy guard to get armor back, of it those portal things?? I can never seem to kill those

I think they do about 400-75 damage (based on the radius to the zombie) in WaW to BO3.

With some slight explosion scaling in some of the games.

That is a one-hit kill until round 4. And almost 120 on round 50 (not sure how much they scale).

The design on Round Off is top-tier. The clever visual play on tally marks being arranged in a circle, essentially mimicking the "slash" across five tallies with the slash of a prohibition or null sign (∅) is a brilliant way to visually communicate ending or halting the round.

How would the CBRS only have a fire rate of 194 RPM? And that’s with rapid fire too. Obviously it shoots much faster than that, so how come it only says 194?

Yo Reddit, here’s a little update on the issue I’ve been having with Outbreak in Black Ops Cold War.
This time, I actually recorded a video so you guys can see exactly what I’m talking about.
As you can clearly see in the video, World 1 runs perfectly fine. I can run around, shoot zombies, and do pretty much anything without a single issue. Everything is smooth, and there’s absolutely no lag.
But the moment I warp to World 2, where the difficulty increases, everything starts going to shit.
I start experiencing massive delays, lag, and weird audio issues.
You can even hear it when I’m shooting my weapon. I’ve already stopped firing, but the Pack-a-Punched weapon sound keeps playing afterward, as if I’m still shooting.
Like, how the hell does that even make sense?
What’s even weirder is that this doesn’t happen on any specific map. It doesn’t matter if I’m playing Zoo or any other Outbreak region. Everything works fine in World 1, but once I warp to World 2, the problems start.
I genuinely have no idea what’s causing this anymore.
Has anyone experienced anything similar, or does anyone know how to fix this?
I’d really appreciate any help because I just want to enjoy Outbreak without the game completely losing its mind.

Yesterday I hopped on to the Rex Infernus map and the first game on there yesterday had three players who did absolutely nothing other than kill. No door buys at all, just killing and I’m not kidding when I say every other match since that one has been exactly the same.

Before I came on here to post this, I had just quit a match because I bought all doors and did all tasks up to getting the Pack-A-Punch machine up. I kept saying in the chat that they needed to buy some doors and complete some tasks otherwise we wouldn’t get the Puncher up. I asked them to do more but they just ignored that and carried on.

I deeply regret completing the task to get that machine up because as soon as it was, they punched their guns and that was it. I kept pinging the doors they needed to buy and the tasks they needed to do but none of them budged. I decided that I wouldn’t buy any more doors until I’ve seen one of them at least try and act as a team player but nope. Thirty odd minutes after I got the Puncher up, they still hadn’t moved any further forward.

Why do people join these zombie matches if they don’t intend to be a team player? Those that actually want to complete the game are being held back by these types of players. Yes I could go in solo but I would rather play as a team member and get it done quicker.

I swear it wasn’t this bad even on Black Ops 6 Zombies. I rarely joined a match that was full of kill farmers. It was always team players doing their part. Reviving and buying doors and assisting tasks.

If you read this and you are one of those who want to hoard their essence to punch their guns at the first chance they get, can you just play solo so you don’t clog up matches with your presence and hold back those who actually want to complete it?

I played WAW and liked the fact that the characters had some sort of connection to WW2 and they should have had a full black ops game zombies dedicated to them and their story with the same 4 characters. Then one last black ops game that is the finale and prequel so it gets new players to play the old zombies.

Did it at round 31 with the sokol pap4 ultra, ray gun mk2 pap3 and wardens blight pap3. Almost died at the warden but still finished the job. That was my second time completing the boss rush and my first time doing it solo. I had a great time doing it though and I'm definitely gonna do it again sometime. What gun should I try next time? Akimbo VST's are on the list. What else though? In the warden part I brought kazimirs, molotovs, upgraded grapple, aether shroud, requipment, aftertaste and an ion core but I still used up my equivalent exchanges and my self revive. Anyone got any tips on that part itself?

BO7. Does it matter what round you do the Super Easter Egg Boss Rush on? Are the zombies slower and not as strong if you do it on a lower level?

I barely scraped by The Warden bossfight on my second try on Directed Mode, I'm so nervous for this lmao. How many tries did the Super EE bossfight take you guys?

I’ve beaten the round 100 boss fight on totenreich, and the mammoth was straight up ridiculous. It was skipping phases how quickly it killed him. So I’m curious if it’s still the best gun to use for the Aether Ruler challenge boss fight? We just died at the very end, but the Sokol was complete garbage, the Novaline did the best but it was still not very good. It barely depleted any health at all any time we shot. So yeah a better weapon would’ve definitely helped 😂

I’m a diehard fan of BO2 and BO3 zombies (I know, very hot take). I haven’t been able to get into BO6 and BO7 zombies because I just don’t enjoy the Warzoney feel of it. I tried playing BO6 zombies but was disappointed by all but a few maps (veil >> citadel > terminus) which I somewhat enjoyed, some more than others. But I just couldn’t get past the Warzone feel of it and only played <10 games per map.

So what makes BO7 zombies so much better than BO6? Is it good enough that I can look past the Warzone feel of it?

I'm currently going through the maps in order, and I'm about to start Mob of the Dead where I know the content of the maps really starts to increase. I've been spending on average about a 3 to 4 days on a map, but from what I've seen with the rest of the BO2 mals they're likely to take up a couple of weeks each.

Would you say that's a fair assessment? Do maps get more content heavy as time goes on?

It’s actually insane how rare they made perkaholic. You can sit and spin all day and it become obvious that it‘s on another level of rarity. Really scummy they clearly did this intentionally to squeeze more money out of people. I spent probably an hour spamming X and I saved up like 15+ for all the other ultra rare gums, while I only got 3 perkaholics. This is statistically impossible if there was the same rarity among their class of gobble gums. Anyone else noticed this bullshit?

I’ve been doing the victims Easter eggs with one other friend and we’ve done Tranzit and die rise, now one of our other friends has the game but hasn’t done either of the prior Easter eggs. We try to By-pass us having done them by having him host a game, get to round 2 and then have us join his game but this either doesn’t work for either of us trying to get in or works for one but not me. What is causing this and how do I fix it?

Yo Reddit, I seriously need your help because I’m losing my mind over this.
I recently reinstalled Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on my PS5 because I wanted to get back into Zombies, especially Outbreak.
But for some reason, Outbreak is completely broken for me.
Here’s what’s happening:
Whenever I start a game of Outbreak, World 1 runs absolutely perfectly. No FPS drops, no stuttering, no freezing, nothing. I can explore the entire map, complete objectives, kill zombies, and everything runs smoothly.
But the moment I warp to World 2, things start going downhill.
The weirdest part? It doesn’t even happen immediately.
I can actually run around World 2 for a while, sometimes exploring almost half the map, before the game suddenly starts having MASSIVE FPS drops and stuttering.
And when I say massive, I mean the game becomes borderline unplayable.
Even the audio starts acting weird. For example, I destroyed an Omega helicopter earlier, and the explosion sound didn’t play until the helicopter had practically already crashed.
It’s like the entire game suddenly starts struggling to process what’s happening.
Here’s what makes absolutely no sense to me:
Die Maschine? Runs perfectly.
Firebase Z? No issues.
Mauer der Toten? Completely fine.
Dead Ops Arcade? Works.
Multiplayer? No problems.
Outbreak World 1? Smooth as butter.
Outbreak World 2? Absolute disaster.
My internet connection isn’t the issue either.
I’ve tried pretty much everything I could think of on my PS5, but nothing seems to fix it.
From what I’ve heard, other players have been experiencing similar problems, possibly related to a recent update, although I can’t confirm that’s the cause.
I also came across something people were calling the Spotify workaround.
Apparently, you’re supposed to start Spotify, switch back to Cold War, and somehow that can help with the stuttering.
Well, I tried that too.
Didn’t work. Not even slightly.
And before anyone suggests reinstalling the entire game, I’d REALLY prefer not to do that unless it’s absolutely necessary.
Cold War is a massive download, and I honestly just want to enjoy Outbreak again.
I’ve already put an insane amount of hours into Zombies. I’m currently Prestige Master, Prestige 12, Level 556, and I’ve unlocked Gold camo on a ridiculous number of weapons.
I’m trying to finish grinding the remaining weapons, and Outbreak has always been one of my favorite modes for doing that.
But right now, I can’t even make it through World 2 without the game turning into a PowerPoint presentation.
So here’s my question for the Cold War community:
Has anyone experienced this exact issue on PS5?
Especially the weird situation where World 1 runs perfectly fine, but World 2 starts lagging after you’ve explored part of the map?
Is there an actual fix for this?
Could it be a corrupted cache, a problem with the PS5 version, or something introduced by an update?
Has anyone found a workaround that actually works?
I’m genuinely running out of ideas here.
I just want to get back to killing zombies, leveling up my weapons, and grinding those Gold camos without my PS5 acting like it’s trying to run GTA 6 on a microwave.

So I am fairly new to the COD Zombies Storyline but I am wanting to play the games first hand than to watch a video on YouTube about it, I’m looking to see if anyone out there is keen to play all the needed maps throughout the COD Zombies games with me and to help me see the zombies storyline for the first time!

I have played Zombies before, especially as a kid, but I’m only just now realising that there’s an actual story to it, would anyone be down to basically carrying me through this and roughly how long do you think it would take? Basically looking to find all the lore pieces to the story and Easter eggs for each map (I’ve never done any Easter egg)
