Discussion Why the Husband Matters More Than Most Bulls Realize NSFW
I think people naturally assume that if a bull keeps coming back to the same couple, it’s because of the wife.
Obviously attraction to her matters, but after you’ve been around this lifestyle for a while, you start realizing the husband can be just as important to whether you actually want to keep dealing with a couple.
A secure husband makes the entire dynamic easier.
He doesn’t constantly test you, compete with you, try to establish some strange pecking order or act like he has something to prove. He knows where he stands in his relationship, he trusts his wife, and he understands that the bull isn’t there to replace him.
That creates a much better environment for everyone.
When there’s respect between the husband and bull, you don’t have to second-guess every conversation or wonder whether something that was fine yesterday is suddenly going to become a problem tomorrow. You can communicate directly, be honest about what you want and let the dynamic develop without the wife having to constantly manage two egos.
A good husband can actually make the wife more attractive because he makes the entire situation more attractive.
If I like her but I don’t trust him, I’m not interested. If I’m attracted to her and I also respect him, trust him and enjoy speaking with him, that’s usually a couple I’m much more interested in seeing again.
The best dynamics I’ve seen are rarely built on competition between the husband and bull. They’re built on respect, clear communication and enough confidence on both sides that nobody feels the need to constantly prove where they stand.
For the bulls who have had long-term dynamics with the same couple, how much did your relationship with the husband affect whether you wanted to keep coming back?
