I finally got to the part where I have to put together the lemons on the roof and so far I really like how it is coming together! I planned on using the 2d lemons as a base to glue my 3d lemons to, so i tried to match the sizes as close as possible. So far I think it's coming together pretty good! I think i should be able to finish up tomorrow! I still need to build my lemon tree that goes in the front and for that I'm going to use the pre-made lemons i got that were too big for the roof. But I don't want to hand make anymore haha, making over 100 of these tiny things used up all my patience for lemons.

Put myself through this knowing the kit has issues. I was doing fine until the stairs part - the plastic and anchoring wooden pieces were not made long enough to go where they are supposed to. My stairs were sticking out the edge so it messed up most of the box fitting. I did not assemble whatever was going on in the front. The clamp pieces didn't fit correctly to hold the base of the plastic window.
This kit took way longer than I expected. For the stairs I had to assemble steps first then tried slotting them it (did not fix it but hoped I could force it closed later). Overall, finishing the walls were a lot of pressure and used superglue for the mirrors (didn't slot well) and the outer front/side pieces.
The book stickers are perforated the wrong way I think (for top of piles). I had many alignment issues on almost every piece on the 2nd floor.
I really didn't enjoy this kit because so much didn't fit but no pieces broke, and none were missing. I left out the Wind Library sign on purpose. Would be much better if they didn't make the stairs structure with flimsy plastic.
This was the version found in TJ Maxx as I couldn't get the target one. I'm curious if they are exactly the same

Hi all,
I'm participating in the FiFiJoy event. For those whose made this nook, any tips or tricks?
I really hope this qualifies because it's not a true WIP. I was mauled by a dog this past weekend and don't have complete use of my left hand yet.
Here's my box and heroic dog who saved me from a worse fate.

This one wasn’t as fun as my first Book Nook. I was left with extra pieces that no matter how much I searched the booklet were never referenced. And the paint you were to use wasn’t great quality. I’m glad it’s done and I’ll keep it for now - but it wasn’t my favourite in final look or assembly.

Completed this in 2 days. A bit of customization -
Glow in the dark paint
Glow in the dark spiderwebs as well as regular webs (made with hot glue)
More vines
More moss
I was going to do standard water puddles but I’m not sure…maybe around the moss?
Some of the instructions weren’t super clear, so I had to go back and fix
Stuff after I built it, and as some have pointed out there are tiny pieces. I broke one of the fan blades but I just left it hanging there because abandoned right?

I really enjoyed this kit! Definitely one of the more complicated kits I’ve done! I really enjoyed all the little intricate details. The only thing I didn’t like was the little wooden lanterns … so I changed them out! I got some little “flickering” orange lights, and used beads to turn them into lanterns. I wired them into the system, then put the whole thing on a usb cord with a 3V stepdown unit so it can run off power with my other kits!

I was excited at the arrival of this little box theatre build. I haven’t done one before and am so looking forward to working in such a tiny scale!
I’ve been planning some customisations as I want to make it a Hobbit market to go with my Whispering Hollow Hobbit houses. As this tiny world is new territory all I can say is “I’m going on an ADVENTURE!” 😆

The problem is if I start this I'll only do this during nap time and not laundry or cook. My 16 month old needs to start doing chores so I can craft.

Since I’m new to this community, I just wanted to show off my first ever book nooks I made. These were made a few years ago! When I first started getting into miniatures I didn’t know rolife existed so I went in on hard mode!🤣

And it's glorious, great quality, fascinating design. I just wanted to ask if anyone else had completed it? I'm not a fan of the demon in the centre of the lower section, what if anything did you replace it with?

I really like this kit. The parts included are various types of materials and paper with varying thicknesses. It’s just like a real stationery or scrapbook store would offer. The books that are made from white foam, and they look more realistic. My favorite detail so far is the display shelf in the front left corner. I added some scrapbook paper to make it look more full. It even rotates like a real display shelf! 😊

Just received my prize from the MiniCity event. It’s not something I would ever pick for myself but it looks interesting and I’m looking forward to doing it! Thanks again Pluck and MiniCity!

Need help! Missing pages 64 and 65 for Joyo House Zora's Bakery (SQ-113)
Hi everyone! I am currently building the Joyo House "Zora's Bakery" kit (European Shop Series SQ-113), but my instruction booklet is missing pages 64 and 65.
I am stuck right at the end where I need to assemble the main building structure and wire up the lighting/touch sensor circuit.
If anyone who has built this kit still has their manual lying around, could you please snap a quick photo or scan of pages 64 and 65 and drop them in the comments? It would be a massive lifesaver. Thank you so much in advance!

Loved making this but it had terrible instructions. The numbers often didn't match what I was supposed to be using.

EDIT - As Feisty pointed out, I misread. This kit is eligible for the discount, not as an event kit. Still excited, still working on it! :)
When Pluck announced the new kit eligible for the event, I hopped right on it! I immediately fell in love with the Tiki Bar, and of course ordered a few more as well, lol! Just received this day before yesterday, broke it open last night, and I'm coloring edges like a madwoman!! So excited to put this one together, what a fun design!
Still waiting on the other 2 to be delivered, but this was the crown jewel for me!

Made a good start with this kit last night. The boards fit together so nicely, the 3d elements and the flat pieces seem to harmonize. The lighting pack is going great, so far. The only problem has been figuring out which direction to install an led and placing a PVC "window" facing the right way. I do want to decorate that blank wall in the small room but haven't decided yet on a theme.

I put together this cat café book nook, and the LED for the chandelier at the top was working just fine. Well, it stopped working so I bought another LED to replace it but the one I bought is nowhere near as bright. I can't find online what the difference is, other than the one that comes with the kit has this yellow circle inside it and is shorter.
If anyone could tell me what the difference is, I'd really appreciate it. The LED I bought is 5mm, 12V, 20mA, 500 Ohm.
