In the 9th season premier of Koffee with Karan, I did like how Salman was the first guest mirroring season 4. But the energy is so different. Back in 2013, Salman was enjoying his single life and was quite happy being alone too. Like showing how its a damn good feeling to sleep all by yourself and stuff like that. But he was 47 turning 48 back then too. Now as he will be 61 this year, he is feeling alone and his rapid fire round is a proof of it. On surface level, he may look like a yapper to us but step back and see, he wishes to be heard. He has seen all his family, all siblings, cousins, some nephews and nieces all get married and he is by himself. I mean the idea of being that cool single uncle is only good on paper. And Salman understands that. I am actually feeling bad for this guy now.

However, while watching KWK, KJo said something like how when he was interning for ddlj, all of them used to travel in a single bus. Whenever Yash-ji (yes, I triple checked, and at least by the time I wrote this question it said Yash-ji only) saw a beautiful place on their way, they used to shoot there, and they didn't explicitly do any kind of scouting for the location…… Now, I know he was the producer of the film, but don't all these creative aspects come under the director?

The only posts I’ve seen about the episode are ones praising Salman’s friendship with Karishma and his vulnerability or that he seems lonely. It’s quite possible that this is being discussed deep in the comments and I just haven’t seen it.

Omg! What a lovely episode. I did not have too many hopes from this but it turned out to be so wholesome. I am not a Salman fan, or at least wasn’t. But seeing him today just made my heart happy. He is so wise and like Karan said, he really has changed so much over the years.
I hope the following episodes match up!!!!
