I don't like new age spirituality and i'm new to occultism. Are subliminals legit, placebo or law of attraction?

Are there any other religions/practices that were/are like this?

Would anything happen at all if one were to put this ritual into a fiction and or take inspiration from it? What if it is done unknowingly/unconsciously/subconsciously?

Would anything happen at all if one were to pray to any of the spirits mentioned toward the end of the live stream? (Timestamp: 54:16) could that be something that could happen on accident at all?

If this is not the right place to post this please tell me where I can find an answer to this dilemma because I would love to honor the spirit that has done so much for me

disclaimer: I'm not a witch or spiritualist or anything but I do believe in the occult to a degree, obviously lol

I believe wholeheartedly that I am being looked after by some spirit or divinity, I have never been spiritual or identified as a witch or anything-I'd even just call myself an atheist-but if I start listing all the things that happened to me despite all that you'd probably call me foolish for not seeing it sooner. Stuff so apparent that my atheist, scientist brother who doesn't believe in anything is wary of those things.

This nondescript spirit is a protective feminine energy (from what I can sense) and there will be times when I can literally sense her slight annoyance with me because I am not communicating with her as often, things she does for me will suddenly stop but all I can do is "pray" to her out loud I have no idea where to start with thanking her for all she does for me.

This is a very specific situation and I tried finding resources online but there are so many conflicting thoughts and opinions that it just makes me not wanna do anything. Is it enough to just light my favorite candle or incense in her honor with intention or is there something more effective, if I just knew where to look this would be so much easier.

So ive been practicing baneful magic for a little while now but the target ive been using does not live in the same state as me. And they dont have any public social media accounts.

If I really wantes to keep track of a baneful spell on them are there ways i would know they've been hit?

For context this is a person who caused me alot of trauma in the past and the effects of their actions still affect me years later. I have not spoken or seen this person in the past 2 years and it took me this ling to decide if I wanted to do spell work on him ir not but I decided i needed to stopw waiting on karma and be his karma.

But i need to know when my works actually hit them and idk how.

There is a horror film called The Omen, and it is rumored for the behind the scenes to be cursed. Is the curse real at all in any way, shape, and or form at all?

Why would it be cursed in the first place? And what about the remake, sequel, and prequel?

Could one make any kind of media about Satan and or The Devil and or Lucifer and or The AntiChrist and be completely okay and or safe and or alright? Especially if it was made similarly made to The Omen?

Could one name people and or fictional characters after any of cast and or crew and or fictional characters of/from the movie and be completely okay and or safe and or alright? Does it depend if it was intentional or not and or if one knew any of the names or not at all in any way, shape, and or form?

Would something happen at all in any way, shape, and or form if some one made fanart and or redrew a scene from the film and or redrew one of the covers/ posters and or drew/ made something inspired by the covers/ poster?

What if someone said and or actually had the intention to remake and or make something inspired by the film?

Would making a fictional character like and or inspired by and or exactly like and or very similar to any of the characters from the movie, like the child for example, cause something to happen at all? Like anything from names, to personality, to appearances, to clothing, to lifestyle, to wealth status, to age? Would making the child character in a character creator from a video game for example cause something/ anything to happen at all?

How do I not be scared/ as scared of this?

The main stories that I get caught up on is the one involving decapitation and the one where a plane killed an entire family driving as it crashed. What do you think of those, especially the first one?

Would creating a child fictional character who wears the same/same kind and or similar/similar kind of clothing as the child in The Omen film and even giving the fictional character the same name, lifestyle, wealth status, and or etc. and or something similar to any of this, would that cause something/ anything to happen at all in anyway shape and or form at all?

Just a question because I genuinely think therapy wouldn't work based on the situation i went through knowing that I aint safe, as if I ever was.

I have noticed about me is that every time i enter a room, I put everyone on edge and they ask if i am okay and I genuinely don't understand why.

Like apparently my vibe is not matching their own.

Yet everyday I been feeling cold and numb so I'm just wondering if thats due to my energy in general or something else.

I cut off all my habits and starting new yet people say I put them on edge for some reason.

I wanted to ask for some insight into a series of experiences I’ve had recently, as I’m curious about how they might be interpreted from a more occult perspective.

For context, I’ve spent quite some time studying symbolism, the Qabalah, sacred geometry, numerology, and astrology, and I work with the Thoth Tarot. I’m currently looking to deepen my practice in both ceremonial magic and chaos magic as I finally feel more prepared to do so, so I’m particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in either field.

The first encounter happened when I was trying to manifest a particular outcome in my life. I asked for a sign that it was about to materialize and, rather spontaneously, specified that I wanted to see a black cat in a particular location. It wasn’t something I’d consciously chosen based on any particular correspondence, the image simply came to mind (which I think can be an important detail). A few days later, I encountered a black cat in precisely the spot I’d imagined. I immediately took it as confirmation that the outcome was inevitable, and the situation unfolded approximately three hours later.

Since then, I’ve had a few other encounters with black cats that have caught my attention. On one occasion, I was leaving a restaurant with some friends when we found a little black kitten lying directly in front of the entrance, looking at us with its tongue out. Today, when I left my house, there was another black cat sitting right in front of my doorstep. It meowed at me and began rubbing against my legs, very clearly wanting to grab my attention. I’ve spotted a few other black cats here and there, but these two encounters stood out to me in particular.

I’ve been wondering whether this might have any significance beyond the original experience. Given my recent involvement in shadow work and my efforts to deepen my occult practice, I’ve considered whether the recurrence of this particular symbol might be worth investigating. I’m aware of the various historical associations between black cats, witchcraft, and magical familiars, although I wouldn’t want to conflate those traditions or assume that the appearance of an animal necessarily indicates spiritual contact.

My guess is that I have charged the black cat symbol with personal meaning through my intention, and now it’s attached to my reality regardless. There’s also the famous picture of the black cat as representation of the subconscious, which is what I’ve been focusing more on working through as of lately.

Would you consider the subsequent encounters potentially meaningful as omens or synchronicities, or would you interpret them primarily through the personal symbolism established by the original working? Are there any methods of discernment you would recommend studying in this context? Thank you!

Hello, so I've been wondering this for a while now but I was never sure, so today I decided to ask y'all.

One of the main reasons I've been thinking that there's a spirit is because the previous homeowner couldn't finish this house because he passed away. Sadly I do not know how and I do not know about any family of his. All I know is that we moved here when I was 5 and there's been weird things.

My mother once told me (a year ago or two) that when we first moved here that my father experienced nightmares of the previous owner hunting him down for finishing or continuing what he couldn't. He was upset over it. These nightmares occurred often but only to my father, and I don't think he's had any of those recently.

Now nightmares are definitely only one thing and don't exactly mean something but I've found myself listing all the weird things that have happened to me, so here they are.

As a teenager (starting with me being 14) my parents have left me at home to watch our pets while they went away with my two other little siblings. I didn't mind because I went on vacation on my own with a group of other teens and plus I didn't really like vacations in general. During those periods I was alone at home for two weeks with my grandmother coming to check in every time. Now I know this sounds irresponsible from my parents but I was responsible enough to look after myself, do my laundry, cook, grocery shop, etc. So they didn't mind. I remember during those periods of times I did get paranoid every now and then. I never told my parents, nervous they would laugh.

During those periods when I was alone I'd hear noises I've never heard when I was alone at home just for an evening or when my family was there. I'd hear creaks and once I've even heard a door slam, which has literally never happened to me.

I also have seen shadow figures. This has happened to me twice and I still remember how terrifying it was. It was the evening, so it was starting to get dark and I went by the living room which had a glass door, and as I was about to pass it I could swear I saw a shadow figure standing at the door. As soon as I turned on the light to see better because my heart was pounding it was gone.

Then on other occurrences I could swear I could see a shadow standing at the stairs, peeking from the basement, and I remember being so scared I'd always close the door to the basement stairs.

Well that's all for the things I've seen, experienced. I know it's not a lot, but I'd like to know whether it could actually be the spirit of the previous homeowner. And if it is what I could do to get on his "good side" or if I should even try to contact him.

Heya. I guess I should start with context. My mother and my great grandmother were huge on occult and witch stuff, me? Not so much. But shortly before I turned 18 I started experiencing a lot of weird things, which led me to believe it was Hekate who was trying to communicate. So I read some information on her, did a few small rituals and felt her presence and answers. She did me a lot of favors. I'm still very inexperienced though, only started diving into all of this about 3-4 months ago.

Recently I have not been feeling well at all, due ro some personal reasons, even did sh yesterday but I doubt that's relevant to what happened today. Today the problem resolved, but an idea came to my mind and refused to leave. Trying out blood magic, AND finding some kind of ritual or deity that would give me everything I wanted right here and then (sounds silly now, I know), it felt like a really strong pull from somewhere inside me.

When i went into searching and even deeper into thinking about it, my left ear suddenly felt as if it was stabbed. I remembered Hekate and how I've been working with her, so it would at least be rude to just go to some other deity for quick results without even finding out why exactly Hekate reached out in the first place. Then the pain stopped, as well as the will to rapidly search the internet for what I wanted, and I felt completely exhausted all of a sudden.

Now I'm wondering, what the hell was that? Any ideas and/or advice?

Something is going on and I need to know what. I’m not sure exactly where to begin but, for over a decade, I’ve been plagued by water related incidents and I need help. I’ve never had a head for exact dates but I will list these events in chronological order (although I’m not sure it matters). Also, if there is a separate community that this post makes more sense for, please let me know.

I am open to insight, suggestions, parallels, questions, ect. Some events may seem more related than others. As the person living this they all feel connected. Below is a list of significant, water related events that have happened over the years.

1. working at an outdoor drama one summer: the water heater in my apartment complex was weirdly on the third floor and a hidden leak cause the floor to break and the water heater to fall through the wall and directly into my bottom floor apartment closet. This resulted in a massive flood,(complete with thousands of big and mice that burst from my closet along with a pretty significant flood that, ultimately, made the apartment completely unlivable), the destruction of all of my clothes and things that were in my closet as well as the need to permanently vacate the apartment and spend the rest of my time living there sleeping on a mattress and someone else’s apartment. My roommate at the time sustained absolutely no damage or losses aside from the things she had sitting on the apartment floor.
2. next apartment: a pipe deep in the wall has a burst resulting in a hidden leak. My apartment is fine but the leak destroyed my down stairs neighbors bathroom. Plumber opens the wall and the result is that water then floods into my apartment causing significant damage to the kitchen, living room and stairs.
3. my boyfriend (now husband) has never see the ocean. We go visit my grandparents in the coast. We are swimming in the bay and high tide comes in. My boyfriend almost drowned. I had to pull him back up and swim us both back to show. He says this was the scariest moment of his life and he will not talk about it to this day.
4. we move into a house together and love there for 10 years. While living there we are plagued with plumbing issues. Dish washer, washing machine, showers, sinks, toilets, all regularly flood. Our yard is dug up twice because tree roots are blocking our septic and water lines.
5. during that same season if life, we decide to go kayaking and get sucked under water by a fallen tree and rescued (thankfully!!!!!) by strangers.
6. on a girls trip with my mom, sister, aunts and cousins, the ill feeder decision is made to go tubing. 4 miles of water on the creek is so low that we are essentially dragging our inner tubes behind us. I would say that we hiked over rocks for a good 3 miles before finally coming upon a large stagnant pool. this section must be crossed in order to proceed to the pick up spot. Everyone else floats across the water with ease, but when it’s my turn, my tube, and I simply sit, and moving, in the middle. knowing that everyone is waiting for me and and that there could very well be snakes in that water, I decided to drop out of my tube with the intention of swimming rather than floating. Unfortunately, my foot gets stuck in between two rocks and my repeated attempts to come back up to the surface are sorted by my tube because it keeps shifting so that every time my head bobs up to the surface, it bumps into the underside of the tube and I go right back down. It was about 30 seconds of consistent struggle before I finally made it fully to the surface and was able to swim with my tube towards the shore. Obviously, I finally made it out, but this is the closest I have ever come to drowning.
7. 3 1/2 years ago we bought our first house. This house should not have but DID “pass” a home inspection. The first winter that we were here, I was heavily pregnant (third pregnancy/first child), and a secret set of pipes burst, resulting in a massive flood and the destruction of half of our home. I need to lay out more detail details though before I proceed.

Our house is quirky. What seemed to be purposeful, rustic finishing has turned out to be a lot more botched DIY than anybody expected. Let me paint the scene for you, prior to this pregnancy. I had two miscarriages followed by five years of infertility. This was fine with me as I had just accepted that it was my destiny to take care of other people’s children (at the time I was a career educator ) rather than having my own. About 12 weeks into my pregnancy we did NIPT testing. The company shut their website down and the results did not come in until I was well into my second trimester at which point in time we found out that our son 97% chance of having down syndrome. Down syndrome can sometimes cause late stage miscarriages, so I developed a very real very deep fear that I was going to lose a third baby. This caused me significant mental and emotional distress on top of the turmoil surrounding my decision to leave my career and become a stay at home mom so that I could meet my son’s needs whatever they might be. For his part, my husband decided to switch from dayshift to night shift so that he could get a pay increase and better support our family. The day that he was set to start his first night shift, I was two months away from my due date, and Home because schools were closed for snow. We were saying goodbye in the hallway when the flood happened.

Come to find out, when previous owners had converted part of the attic to large bedroom with an en suite, they had done a lot of the plumbing themselves. They had also made sure to hide that plumbing. Our attic door is actually a wall that folds down. It’s so well hidden that we didn’t even know it was there until after we bought the house. The other thing that was really well hidden where these pipes. They had stuffed insulation on top of the pipes, but not between the pipes and the roof, so the pipes were completely exposed to the temperature changes and had also been poorly cobbled together using scrap piping. Let me reiterate the fact that we didn’t even know these pipes were up there so when water started pouring out of our master bedroom ceiling fan, we had no idea where it was coming from at first. Ultimately, half of our house was destroyed, and the renovations were not finished until the day before I was induced due to mild preeclampsia.

8) fast forward almost a year exactly and a second set of pipes burst again. The only difference is that this time, it was further down the pipeline and actually hidden behind a wall. Also, we were not home when this happened. Our state got hit with a massive eye storm, and we lost power for about seven days. At the time we had taken the baby and moved to my in-laws to wait out the storm. While we were there, our power came back on, and the return of our heating cause these pipes to crack and burst. It wasn’t until the next day that we finally got the alert that our power have been restored. At that point, our house had been flooding for over 24 hours. There was much more extensive damage this time and, once again, half of our house had to be completely demolished and restored. We also had greater losses. Thousands and thousands of dollars in clothing and artwork and keepsakes were completely lost due to either water damage or mold. It was absolutely devastating.

9) since the second flood, we have had a series of minor issues such as dishwashers flooding, poorly renovated bathrooms causing new pipe leaks, lots of small things, but it’s been pretty ongoing.

10) in August my best friend, who lives out of state, started being plague by almost constant, bad luck. She went from being one of the most lucky people I’ve ever known to having constant incidents of misfortune. In an attempt to help her from a distance, I made her several paintings and tried to fill each piece with cleansing intentions. The idea was that if I were able to enchant them so that they would offer her cleansing and protection and a reversal of this constant stream of bad luck the things might improve for her. Within a week of receiving my gift, the pipes underneath her house new exploded and, of course, flooded her space.
We joke that my intention was cleansing and not washing. But it’s not really a joke

11) my husband, and I had a very close friend that he grew up with and had been in our joint life for about 15 years. We always had a bit of a complicated relationship and I never really knew what our dynamic was. My husband and I both agree that our friend had feelings for me and it was kind of silently understood that if anything happened to my husband, he and I would probably become partners at some point. While I’ve known him for over a decade, we really only started to develop a friendship independent from my husband this summer. A month ago he fell and drowned in his bathtub. The last thing I said to him was to ask if he was hydrated or not.

Up to this point, this is everything I can remember. Some additional details, in college I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that causes the constant dehydration of my mucus membranes. Causing me to need to consume a lot more water than people without this condition. Also, my son is a happy and healthy Pisces baby who is obsessed with water. So much so that he will sometimes take his sippy cup and shake it above his head just so that he can be wet. He also loves rain storms, splash pads, the swimming pool, and of course, bath time.

My questions are, is any of this actually significant? Could I have some sort of water-based attachment? Could I have some sort of water-based powers that I don’t know how to use? Is all of this purely coincidental? Is there some water-based lesson I’m supposed to learn? How can I stop it?

I understand that some people may transform physically into something similar to this, but when observing in detail this ball of light or fire, it just dissappears. This fire doesn't emit any heat.

I don't think it's a Salamander either. I don't see a being inside the "fire".
