I just upgraded from the AirPods 4 (Non-ANC) to the AirPods 5 (base variant with ANC), and trust me guys, it's so fucking amazing!

I've never owned AirPods with ANC before, and I haven't tried the AirPods Pro 3 either, so this is my first proper experience with noise cancellation.

It's literally been a few minutes, and I'm already in love with them. I genuinely didn't expect ANC to make this much of a difference.

If you've never owned AirPods with ANC and are considering upgrading, I HIGHLY recommend trying them.

I have AirPods 4 ANC since launch, after a few months I feel ANC is not really cancelling noise at all, since i use AirPods Pro 2 for actual daily ANC, I don't mind much on AirPods 4. Until one day when I was on a meeting with AirPods 4, people said they cannot hear me, I tested again and found out when I force mic to the left one, the mic actually works

Since i have AppleCare+, i sent AirPods 4 for warranty, got replaced with new right bud and charging case. And surprisingly, ANC actually works properly now.

So I have been using a broken ANC all this time all because of broken mic

On my AirPods Pro 3, the sound is unbalanced, biasing the left after some time of listening. It happens quite rarely, but enough for me to notice (maybe like one or times a week). Additionally, sometimes when toggling between ANC and transparency, the activation is delayed. You can tell that the left side becomes noise cancelling or transparent faster than the right. For the sound imbalance, it's not because of debris or anything else because a) they're new (month old) and b) if I disconnect and reconnect bluetooth, the sound is balanced again.

This is the second time both of these issues (unbalanced sound and unbalanced ANC/transparency) have happened, as my previous pair I had replaced also had this issue.

The store worker said that if it happens again it may be due to the device I'm using it with which could be true as even though I paired them originally with my iPad Air M3, I use the AirPods 99% of the time on either a Windows laptop (Lenovo) or my Samsung S25 Ultra phone. Does anyone else have this, is this normal (hopefully not) and what should I do?

i was doing laundry and i didnt realize my airpods were in my pocket. they were in there for about an hour or two, would this be fixable?

Hi I bought the AirPods Pro 3 about 3 months ago and I’m happy with them in terms of quality and battery etc, but I’m not able to get a decent fit on the left ear.

I can have the right one while eating, chewing or in the gym and it won’t move nor leak sound etc.

But with the left one doesn’t stay in position for more than 20 minutes. It’s like after some time the tip separates from being leaning on my face, ANC starts to weaken since the sealing is not working as it should. I tried the bigger and smaller tips but doesn’t improve.

Any recommendation would be helpful, aftermarket tips etc.

I left my AirPods Pro 3 in a tote bag with a water bottle that wasn’t closed properly, and some water spilled on them. They stayed damp until late the next morning.

Good news: they work fine and the sound quality seems normal when playing music.

The issue: when nothing is playing, I hear a kind of faint hiss/ringing (almost like tinnitus) that seems to switch on and off whenever a sound is detected.

What I’ve done / plan to do:

• Letting them air dry for 24–48h outside the case
• No rice, no hair dryer, no compressed air:

1. Has anyone had this after water exposure? Did it go away once fully dry?
2. Could it be water stuck in the mic mesh affecting ANC?
3. Any tips beyond air drying, or should I go straight to Apple?

Me compré los AirPods 5 a dos días del lanzamiento y poco después empecé a tener problemas con la cancelación de ruido o al activar el modo ambiente. En específico después de un rato usándolos el audífono izquierdo empieza a hacer un chasquido o un sonido tipo “viento”. Me es extraño que siga pasando porque es el segundo par que llevo ya que los primeros me los cambiaron en el Apple Store
A alguien más le sucede esto? A lo mejor y es un problema de conexión en concreto con el móvil que estoy usando (IP 17 Pro)

So, I just purchased a pair of Airpod 5's and have paired them to my iPhone 10S running iOS 18.7.10 (the latest iOS it can). There are 2 odd issues I've noticed.

The first one is if I look at the information of the Airpods under the Bluetooth section and I see them being identified as "ACCESSORY_MODEL_NAME 48" under "Model Name" however the "Model Number" does show up correctly as A3439 and "Version" is 9A350 (if that means anything).

The second issue is that the Airpods don't seem to appear in my Find My account (should they?) and if I try to manually add them, they fail.

I'm wondering if I'm doing something stupid here (as these are the first set of Airpod's I've ever owned) or whether it's just because I'm on an older iPhone and not on the newest iOS. Would appreciate any feedback on this one.

The ol’ original ones, not the pros. All of the newer model airpods feel very uncomfortable to me and fit poorly, i have tried basically everything and returned them… I only like how the original ones feel. I have small ears anyway. I’ve held onto the ones I’ve had for many years now, and they’re just totally shot. They die fast and one is much quieter than the other no matter how much I clean it. The problem is, it seems they don’t make these anymore? I’m struggling on where to buy them. I’ve been very hesitant because it seems on eBay theres a lot of listings that seem fraudulent and too good to be true. I’d also prefer new sealed ones… don’t know what to do 😭

The case loses charge rapidly. 2 -3 days of moderate use with no anc or transparency mode etc.
have tried the usual fixes like resetting and all.
Got it last January so warranty is up

so i lost my airpod like a week ago and bought a replacement, but the replacement side won’t update and only one side works, is there any fix for this ??

I’m on iOS 27.0.1 and the low power sound is driving me crazy. There is no way to change it

So I had lost one of my AirPods( left ear AirPod 4). And I found out that you can actually order a single replacement identical (same model and side) AirPod on the Apple website for about $69 instead of ordering a completely new pair from Amazon for like $130. So I ordered the new Single replacement but it only connects to my iPhone as a new single air but I want to be able to connect it with the right side to make a complete pair. Does anyone have any experience doing this?

I’ve had the AirPods Pro 2 for years and I think they’re finally dying. The sound has been pretty bad on phone calls and they have been dying a lot quicker than before. Just curious to know if anyone with lightning pros got serviced and just replaced with type C.

I’ve been having my AirPods for a while, but I’ve been wanting newer ones for awhile. I’m stuck between the AirPods Pro 3 and the new AirPods 5.

It’s so hard to clean it…

I’m devastated, the black dust or whatever getting inside the case, if it doesn’t get clean right away, it leaves a permanent black spot!

I’m 100% sure that right after opening Live Translation, some unsupported languages showed up for a second, including Polish, my native language. That one really surprised me.
I didn’t get a screenshot in time, but I swear I’m not making this up. Did anyone else notice this? Please tell me I’m not going crazy.
