I finished reading East of Eden, by John Steinbeck and thought it was incredible.

I have now started rereading Sense and Sensibility, by Jane Austen. It just blows my mind it was written over 200 years ago, and remains so humorous and feels contemporary.

I finished listening to Bury My Bones in the Midnight Soil, by V. E. Schwab. It was not my cup of tea.

I have begun listening to John of John, by Douglas Stuart, which I’m much preferring, not just for the delightful Scottish accent of the narrator!

Oooohhh, Bury My Bones in the Midnight Soil has been on my TBR for a bit, but I haven't had the time to start it yet. What made it not your cup of tea?

I think I just see other people’s recommendations, particularly of audiobooks, and end up reading things that aren’t my preferred genre. It was a bit yearning/lusty for me and I didn’t care for any of the characters. But other people seem to have enjoyed it, so don’t let me deter you!
