- Top 6 teams qualify for Playoffs
Playoffs
- 6 teams participate
- Double elimination bracket
- 1st to 4th start in the upper bracket
- 5th and 6th start in the lower bracket
- All matches are best of five
- Top 3 teams qualify for the 2026 Season World Championship

I think casters kinda overstating how hard Fnatic threw. They were like 1.2k ahead and two dragons down lol
Botlane just got cooked and they were being outscaled hard they had to send it. Looked a bit silly sure but not sure it was some massive throw.
Probably should have played more around that mega fed Renek though.

Vit also had better scaling and much better gold distribution (Carzzy was like 1.5k ahead of Upset even before they started inting).
They had some really bad plays still, but this game wasn't really going in their favor once they started throwing anyways imo.

When I think massive throw I think of a game where a team has to just push waves and stack objectives to win but fuck it up anyway.
Fnatic had to keep making plays and contest the drakes well or they’d be outscaled. They were barely ahead in the first place lol

Razork giga threw at blue buff. He is so bad man. Losers will blame anyone but him. Also Upset on Lucian?? Dude just put him on a safe carry. If Soboro and Vladi has to play with these two idiots anymore Vladi might retire and Soboro might go back to LPL.

kalista renata is 1/1 in the LEC, the only botlanes that played were KC & MKOI botlanes.
meanwhile xayah rakan is 4/3 in the LEC, but man xayah always give so much to a draft

I don't get why Fnatic are supposed to lock playoffs if they win here. That would put them on 4 wins, couldn't they still go 4-5 and lose the head to head tie breaker to Koi?

it lists Head to Head Match Record as the first tiebreaker for the LEC rule book in section 6.6.1

is that's true then FNC don't lock since they lose the head to head to both Navi and Koi. But the casters are saying they lock if they win and the only way they do so is game score which they have better then Koi and Navi with a 2-0

Read 6.3.5, game win % comes first, head to head only comes in in the event that the teams are tied in game score (win% is not even counted as a tiebreaker, it's just standings determination).

1st pick their opponents from 3rd or 4th and second is playing whoever is left.
I'm just thinking that VIT has nothing to play for, even if they go above G2 they still play them in first round

They could play KC if they pick them finishing 3rd, 2nd just means 1st place can't pick you which would be beneficial in some situations, but because of how the strengths of the teams this split it seems pointless because whoever finishes 4th looks even weaker than VIT

I know this is beating a dead horse, but I haven't watched LEC for a few years now.
Going from watching LCK to this is really bleak. This is like spectating a random Gold game.

10000% This narrative is so annoying, the LCK and LPL have tons of low quality games, even between the top tier teams. But their bad games get called "fun bangers" while when it happens in the LEC it's "proof this region is done for" (despite 6 series wins against LCK/LPL this year btw).
